Carol Dickey moved to Sun City in May 2014 and joined as a board member, assistant treasurer/bookkeeper in November 2020.
She spent the last 21 years of her career as the Administrator for a venture capital company, MedVenture Associates, managing $160 million and investing in medical device start-up companies. She was responsible for all bookkeeping, investor relations, funding the investments, budget and audit preparation and was liaison with the audit company, KPMG.
Prior to this, she spent 10 years working as a personal assistant to high net worth individuals in the Bay Area with a wide range of responsibilities, and 17 years in sales and marketing for an international airline.
She is proud to be a 4th generation California from both sides of her family, born in San Jose and spending her youth in the San Francisco/Oakland Bay Area. She is married, has three daughters and seven grandchildren.
Since moving to Sun City she has joined club activities and social activities. She is also a member of the Kiwanis Club of Lincoln, currently serving as Vice President. Her interests include learning new software, reading, travel and spending time with family.
