Kent Noard joined the Lincoln Hills Foundation as Treasurer in late in 2020.
While sharing his time with the Foundation he is still working as an Enrolled Agent and running his practice of tax preparation, financial planning and consulting which he began in 1981. Prior to entering private practice, he was employed with the Internal Revenue Service for over six years serving in a variety roles. He is a Certified Financial Planner and is registered as an Investment Advisor with the state of California
Kent is no stranger to volunteering. Over the years he has provided extensive volunteer time local and national financial planning organizations. He served as President and Chairman of the Board of the Silicon Valley Society of Certified Financial Planning and was a former member of the National Board of Directors of the ICFP, also served on, and chaired, committees to plan and run regional continuing education conferences for the financial planning associations in the San Francisco Bay Area. He was also an instructor and coordinator of the Personal Financial Planning Certificate program at UC Santa Cruz Extension. After his move to Lincoln Hills in 2016 he became active on the Communications & Community Relations Committee serving as both a member and chairperson.
Noard earned his Master’s degree in Taxation from Golden Gate University (1981) and his Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from San Jose State University (1976).
