December brings us to the end of another year and we hope it has been a good year for all. It is also a month of holiday parties and days to celebrate beyond the traditional ones. We can’t forget Cyber Monday, another day to spend money after Black Friday. International Volunteer Day occurs early in the month and a personal favorite mid-month, Wear Your Pearls Day. We are also closing in on the Winter Solstice and the shortest day of the year which starts the climb by 2 to 3 minutes per day back to the long days of summer.
The Foundation wants to wish everyone a wonderful holiday season, whether you celebrate, Christmas, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, or you are a Festivus person. Be kind, enjoy time with family and friends and don’t forget those in our community who are alone and reach out with a warm invitation to join you and your family.
Bingo in the Ballroom will be on hiatus for the next several months. We usually take December off to give our volunteers maximum holiday shopping time but at the beginning of 2025 the Orchard Creek Ballroom will be under renovation so we won’t be back until March, however, you can check out the rest of the 2025 Bingo dates on our website.
From all of us at the Lincoln Hills Foundation have a wonderful and safe Holiday Season, and from me to our Board and volunteers, Thank You for everything you do for us and for the Community.
